The China Cultural Center in Copenhagen has already prepared a series of exciting activities about Spring Festival - full of atmosphere of Chinese New Year and deep love to everyone. The “Happy Chinese New Year” event, as a comprehensive brand event with the widest coverage, the largest number of participants, and the most extensive influence in the field of foreign cultural exchanges, has become the most anticipated event of the year. This year the China Cultural Center in Copenhagen is collaborating with Shanghai with the title “Happy Chinese New Year - Greetings from Shanghai”. Shanghai is a city full of charm, and it offers amazing experiences that most of the visitors will never get. The Shanghai-style culture (also called Hai Pai culture) is at the root of Shanghai’s energy and charm. The “Happy Chinese New Year - Greetings from Shanghai” contains a series of activities about Chinese New Year with Shanghai-style. Below you can find descriptions about each activity.

Det Kinesiske Kulturcenter i København har allerede forberedt en række spændende aktiviteter om det kinesiske nytår - fuld af atmosfære af kinesisk nytår og dyb kærlighed til alle. Eventen “Glædelig Kinesisk Nytår”, som en omfattende brand-event med den bredeste dækning, det største antal deltagere og den mest indflydelsesrige inden for udenlandske kulturudvekslinger, er blevet årets mest ventede begivenhed. I år samarbejder Det Kinesiske Kulturcenter i København med Shanghai med titlen “Glædelig Kinesisk Nytår - Hilsner fra Shanghai”. Shanghai er en by fuld af charme, og den byder på fantastiske oplevelser, som de fleste besøgende aldrig vil glemme. This activity is jointly produced by Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage Preservation Center and Shanghai 3D Film Co., Ltd. It presents the life stories and exquisite skills of craftsmen - showing their exquisite works, superb skills and unique ingenuity. The China Cultural Center in Copenhagen have selected nine episodes for you, each episode is about five minutes in 8K ultra-high resolution.

The multimedia music scene Gardenia in Blossom is one of the latest explorations of Shanghai Chinese Orchestra. This performance is an original work integrating music, painting, and multimedia visual effects, showing realness in its musical expressions of themes such as youth and love, and striving to enrich contemporary Shanghai-style Chinese music with youth, vigor and fashion. Gardenia in Blossom is divided into four chapters and created by four young composers following the main storyline of “encounter-love-parting-blossom”.

Multimedie-musikscenen Gardenia Blomstrer er en af de nyeste udforskninger fra Shanghai Chinese Orchestra. Denne forestilling er et originalt værk, der integrerer musik, maleri og multimedie visuelle effekter, til at vise virkelighed i sine musikalske udtryk i temaer som ungdom og kærlighed, og stræber efter at berige moderne kinesisk musik i Shanghai-stil med ungdom, vitalitet og mode. The 2021 Shanghai New Year Concert by the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra was held at the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Hall. Xinghai Xian's “Yellow River Piano Concerto”, Schumann (Adapted by Liszt) “Dedication”, and other world-famous songs was presented with affection.

The China Cultural Center in Copenhagen is collaborating with the Shanghai Intangible Cultural Heritage Preservation Center to give you an unforgettable online experience. Through camera live-action shooting, the intangible heritage online exhibition is able to be constructed, giving you a 360-degree panoramic exhibition experience. It allows the audience to control their course of action from the first perspective and browse the exhibits displayed in different areas in the exhibition hall.

The lecture is based on the creative concept of Shanghai-style paper-cut artist Li Shoubai, where he integrates artistic creation, creative design, cultural heritage and social welfare to promote excellent Shanghai-style paper-cutting culture. Li Shiyi, inherited the artistic gene of Shanghai-style paper-cutting, gives a lecture on Shanghai-style paper-cutting skills.
