Last Friday, April 26th, we held the “Tribute to Spring – Yaji in Copenhagen, Lanting Culture Salon” at the China Cultural Center. The event began by exploring the historical significance of the Lanting Culture Salon and the evolution of Chinese characters over thousands of years, centered on the theme “Unity of Heaven and Man.” It also highlighted modern China’s advancements in sustainable development.
The program continued with a tea ceremony, which was integrated with Chinese calligraphy using techniques from the Song dynasty. The event culminated in a workshop on Chinese calligraphy, where participants had the opportunity to practice traditional Chinese expressions and explore the nuances of the art form.
Participants described the event as a vivid and immersive experience that not only offered a direct appreciation of the beauty of Chinese calligraphy but also enhanced their understanding of the cultural concepts it represents.
The event was organized in collaboration with Dansk-Kinesisk Integrations Forum and Danish-Chinese Sports & Culture Association, marking the beginning of a series of events celebrating the tenth anniversary of the China Cultural Center in Copenhagen. Fredag den 26. april afholdt vi “Hyldest til Foråret – Yaji i København, Lanting Kultursalon” i Kulturcenteret. Begivenheden indledtes med en udforskning af Lanting Kultursalons historiske betydning og udviklingen af de kinesiske skrifttegn gennem årtusinder, centreret omkring temaet “Menneske og Natur i Harmoni”. Herudover blev der sat fokus på moderne Kinas fremskridt inden for bæredygtig udvikling.
Programmet fortsatte med en teceremoni, der blev integreret med kinesisk kalligrafi ved anvendelse af teknikker fra Song-dynastiet. Arrangementet kulminerede med en workshop i kinesisk kalligrafi, hvor deltagerne fik lejlighed til at øve sig i traditionelle kinesiske udtryk og dykke ned i kunstartens nuancer.
Deltagerne beskrev begivenheden som en levende og engagerende oplevelse, der ikke blot tilbød en direkte påskønnelse af den kinesiske kalligrafis æstetik, men også udvidede deres forståelse for de kulturelle koncepter, den repræsenterer. Begivenheden blev arrangeret i samarbejde med Dansk-Kinesisk Integrations Forum og Danish-Chinese Sports & Culture Association og markerede starten på en serie af begivenheder i anledning af tiårsjubilæet for det kinesiske kulturcenter i København. Som en del af denne betydningsfulde milepæl vil centret lancere en række spændende tematiske aktiviteter gennem året.
