On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the second most important traditional Chinese festival after Lunar Year, the event “China Tourism and Cultural Week 2022, Ya Ji in Copenhagen – Let’s Invite the Moon” was held successfully at the Green Island CPH by the waterside in Copenhagen on September 10.

Zheng Wen, director of the China Cultural Center in Copenhagen, kicked off the event by introducing the origins of Ya Ji (雅集) and the Mid-Autumn Festival. He also gave a presentation on the global activities that are taking place during this year’s China Tourism and Culture Week, which aims to promote cultural and tourism exchanges between China and other countries and areas.

The guests were treated to exquisite traditional Chinese music such as “By the Waterside”, “Crossing the River”, and “The Moon over a Fountain”, performed by local Chinese and international artists, as they savored Chinese tea and a variety of mooncakes.

This is the second time that the China Cultural Center in Copenhagen has hosted an elegant gathering called Ya Ji (雅集), which aims to build a platform for sharing Chinese culture with  Danish people from all walks of life.

I anledning af månefestivalen, den næstvigtigste traditionelle kinesiske festival efter det kinesiske nytår, blev eventet “Kina Turisme og Kulturuge 2022, Ya Ji i København – Lad os Invitere Månen” afholdt med succes på Green Island CPH ved havnen i København den 10. september.

Zheng Wen, direktør for det kinesiske kulturcenter i København, indledte begivenheden med at introducere Ya Ji (雅集) og månefestivalens oprindelse. Derudover blev aktiviteterne for i års Kina turisme og kulturuge introducerede og har til formål at fremme kultur- og turismeudvekslingerne mellem Kina og andre lande og områder.

Gæsterne fik muligheden for at opleve traditionel kinesisk musik herunder “By the Waterside”, “Crossing the River” og “The Moon over a Fountain”, optrådt af lokale kinesiske og internationale kunstnere, mens de nød kinesisk te samt forskellige månekager.

Det er anden gang, at det kinesiske kulturcenter i København er vært for den elegante sammenkomst kaldet Ya Ji (雅集), som har til formål at bygge en platform med fokus på kulturudveksling og kinesisk kultur.
