Today, the China Cultural Center in Copenhagen invites you to a journey of “Online Chinese Culture Talks” which is a lecture series. It will introduce you to the Chinese culture seen from different aspects. There are six lectures in total; “Chinese Clothing: Its Past and Present”, “Get to know China through a few iconic dishes”, “Bronze Culture and Chinese Civilization”, “Gallantry in Tenderness: The Momentum and Spirit of Chinese Wushu”, “Spring Rain at Dusk: Telling the Story of Chinese Medicine” and “The Chinese Way & The Belt and Road Initiative – A Civilizational State Perspective”.
Today, the China Cultural Center in Copenhagen will introduce you to the first lecture – “Chinese Clothing: Its Past and Present”. In this lecture, the Professor Chu Yan is the speaker. In June 2015, she had held an event called “Explore Clothing Culture in China” at the China Cultural Center in Copenhagen. Six Danish models were invited to walking on the catwalk and their clothing that has Chinese characteristics were designed by Chu Yan. It brought a “Chinese and Western” fashion show to the Danish people. The Danish people and the industry professionals got the opportunity to feel the charm of Chinese clothing at close range and learn the history, heritage and the current situation of the culture of Chinese clothing.
Chu Yan is one of China’s top 10 fashion designers. She is also a professor from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology in China. Moreover, she was the designer-in-chief of the costume for leaders of the Beijing APEC Summit. She will bring you the first lecture – “Chinese Clothing: Its Past and Present”.

Online Foredrag om Kinesisk Kultur: Kinesisk Beklædning – Dens Fortid og Nutid
I dag inviterer Det Kinesiske Kulturcenter i København dig med på rejsen til “Online Foredrag om Kinesisk Kultur”, som er en foredrags-serie. Serien vil introducere dig til den kinesiske kultur set fra forskellige aspekter. Der er i alt seks foredrag; “Kinesisk Beklædning: Dens Fortid og Nutid”, “Lær Kina at kende gennem et par ikoniske retter”, “Bronzekultur og Kinesisk Civilisation”, “Tapperhed og Mildhed: Styrken og Ånden i Den Kinesiske Kampsport”, “Forårsregnen i Skumringen: Fortæller Historien om Kinesiske Medicin” og “Den Kinesiske Vej & One Belt One Road-Initiativet – Et Civiliserende Statsperspektiv”. I dag vil Det Kinesiske Kulturcenter i København introducere dig til det første foredrag – “Kinesisk Beklædning: Dens Fortid og Nutid”.
I dette foredrag er professor Chu Yan taleren. I juni 2015 havde hun afholdt et arrangement kaldet “Udforsk Tøjkultur i Kina” på Det Kinesiske Kulturcenter i København. Seks danske modeller blev inviteret til at gå catwalk, og deres tøj, som havde kinesiske karakteristika, var designet af Chu Yan. Der blev bragt et ”kinesisk og vestligt” modeshow til det danske folk. Det danske folk og fagfolk i branchen fik muligheden for at føle charmen ved kinesisk beklædning på tæt hold og lære om historien, arven og den aktuelle situation i den kinesiske tøjkultur.
Chu Yan er en af Kinas top 10 modedesignere. Hun er også professor på Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology i Kina. Derudover var hun også chefdesigner for lederne til Beijing APEC-topmødet. Hun vil nu give dig det første foredrag – “Kinesisk Beklædning: Dens Fortid og Nutid”.
