💌 Et brev til Venner – Sandmaling 🖼
Den 1. juni er det den Internationale Børnedag! På grund af denne pandemi har børn sammen med sine forældre tilbragt en masse tid derhjemme. Efter mere end to måneders lukning af Danmark er danske skoler og institutioner endelig genåbnet. I anledning af denne Internationale Børnedag, fejrer Kina Kulturcenter i København med kunstværker, der er produceret af Song Qingling fond, videnskab og kultur udvekslingscenter, til alle børn. Værket er baseret på sandmalerier og handler om et brev skrevet af et kinesisk barn til alle europæiske børn, som skal opmuntre dem til at bekæmpe pandemien sammen og mindes denne særlige dag.
Sandmaling, dvs. maleri med sand, er blevet populært de seneste år og er en speciel kunst. Sandmaling laves på en oplyst glasplade, hvor man derefter drysser fin sand på den og tegner ligesom når man tegner på det tågede spejl på badeværelset. Sandmaling har en unik performance-charme, der tiltrækker publikum og man får en uset visuel nydelse. En almindelig håndfuld gult sand i hænderne på sandmalermestre bliver til gyldent sand. Hele malerprocessen optages gennem et videokamera, som er installeret i bunden. Fordi malerens teknik, sandet og bundlyset danner de tilsammen et unikt billede.

💌 A Letter to Friends – Sand Painting 🖼
The 1st of June is International Children’s Day. Because of the pandemic, children and their parents have spent a lot of time at home. After more than two months of closure of Denmark, Danish schools and institutions have finally reopened. China Cultural Center in Copenhagen is celebrating this International Children’s Day with an art exhibition produced by Song Qingling Foundation, Science and Culture Exchange Center, for all children. The work is based on sand paintings and it is about a letter written by a Chinese child to all European children, which should encourage all children to fight the pandemic together and commemorate this special day.
Sand painting has become popular in recent years and it is a special art. The sand painting is the art of pouring colored sands onto an illuminated glass plate and draw like when you draw on the misty mirror in the bathroom. Sand painting has a unique performance charm that attracts the audiences and you get an unseen visual enjoyment. An ordinary handful of colored sand in the hands of sand painters turn into golden sand. The entire painting process is recorded through a video camera, which is installed at the bottom. Because of the painter’s technique, the sand and the bottom light together they form a unique image.
