One of the world’s largest kite festivals, the Fanø International Kite Fliers Meeting, is set to make its grand debut on the scenic coastal island of Fanø in western Denmark from June 10th to 18th, 2023. With the theme of “China to Fanø” this festival will feature the participation of 28 kite experts from China, alongside a captivating exhibition showcasing Chinese culture.
The first Fanø International Kite Fliers Meeting took place in 1985 and has since become an annual tradition on the island. Today, it has grown into one of the most popular kite festivals globally. Throughout the festival, a range of activities, such as kite-making workshops, kite competitions, performances, and exhibitions, are held, providing an unforgettable kite experience for participants and spectators alike.

Et af verdens største dragefestivaller, Fanø International Dragefestival, gør sin storslåede debut på den maleriske kystø Fanø i den vestlige del af Danmark fra den 10. til 18. juni 2023. Med temaet “Kina til Fanø” vil denne festival præsentere deltagelse af 28 drageeksperter fra Kina samt en fascinerende udstilling, der viser den kinesiske kultur.
Den første Fanø International Dragefestival fandt sted i 1985 og er siden blevet en årlig tradition på øen. I dag er det vokset til at være en af verdens mest populære dragefestivaller. I løbet af festivalen afholdes en række aktiviteter såsom drageværksteder, dragekonkurrencer, forestillinger og udstillinger, der giver en uforglemmelig drageoplevelse for både deltagere og tilskuere.
