Taijiquan Fitness Microclass

Taijiquan is a traditional Chinese boxing with the core of traditional Chinese philosophy of Confucianism and Taoism, combined with ancient Chinese medicine, meridians, and other theories, which integrates many functions, such as self-cultivation, physical fitness, and so on. In December 2020, China’s Taijiquan was enshrined among World's Intangible Cultural Heritages. On the occasion of the 2021 Spring Festival, Network of International Cultural Entities (NICE) has produced a series of basic Taijiquan treatment named as “Benefit to Lung". Through a set of simple and basic Taijiquan movements suitable for both young and old, all the audience will be able to practice Taijiquan at home and spend a peaceful and healthy holiday.

Under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine theory and Taiji thought, “Benefit to lung” is a scientific treatment of Taiji which takes Taijiquan as the core exercise mode, combines the knowledge of modern human anatomy and exercise physiology, and mainly aims at cardiopulmonary exercise.
